DVAN Holiday Fundraiser: Silent Auction

The first annual holiday party and the second annual fundraiser for DVAN (Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network) is a week away, and we’re excited about all the amazing art and service donations we received for the silent auction. Here’s a sneak preview of the items, or just go through the slideshow below:

To read about the creative minds behind the items and services, please click on their name in the list of donors below. If you’d like to bid, we ask that you join us for the holiday party on January 14 in San Francisco; DVAN can accept only cash or checks. However, if you absolutely cannot make it and would like to put in a remote bid, please email DVAN Board Member Viet Le at [email protected]. Serious inquiries only, and please let him know your highest bid. The deadline for remote bids is Friday, January 14, at noon PST.

The holiday party and celebration of Isabelle Pelaud’s upcoming book, this is all i choose to tell: History and Hybridity in Vietnamese American Literature, would not be possible without the generous support of many people. DVAN would like to especially thank  Andrew Lam for hosting the event, Chau Lam of Chilipepper Events, Nancy Lam, and Linh Tran and Diep Vuong of Pacific Links Foundation.

In addition, we thank the following people and organizations for their donations of art, books, food, wine, and professional skills:
